Overhead Valve Performance
New V-shaped valves and a pent-roof shape of the combustion chamber enable air in cylinder to flow more smoothly increasing combustion efficiency, allowing for higher compression ratios and greater power output.
Cycloflow™ Design
Honda Cycloflow™ technology enhances the air-fuel mixture and makes it easier to start the engine and idle smoothly while making it more resilient to poor quality fuel.
Fuel Off Position
Stops the flow of fuel allowing the engine to use up the fuel in the carburetor, helping to reduce contamination build up and improve startability after mid and long-term storage.
Smart Engine Layout
Single point control switch, 30% larger diameter fuel filler, extended quick-drain oil tube, and easy-access sparkplug make operation and servicing more convenient and efficient.
Auto Choke + Fuel Interlocking Switch
User-friendly controls work together just by turning on the engine switch, so there is no need to operate each separately, making starting simpler in addition to preventing the potential of fuel leakage during transportation.

The new Honda GCV Pressure Washer engines are superior to the competition in power output. Honda internal tests showed net power output of the GCV170 produced an average of 32% more power, while the GCV200 produced an average of 16% more power than a leading competitors comparable size engines. Powerful output allows the pump of a pressure washer to produce a steady, even amount of high pressure providing consistent performance for tough cleaning conditions.
