No, a catalyst will not be necessary.

Active OEM accounts can contact their regional distributor for assistance with a log in.

Parts are typically available for a minimum of 10 years after the engine is discontinued.

Yes, Honda can provide electronic files upon request.

Yes, 2D and 3D CAD can be supplied to you upon request.  Active OEM accounts can also log into the OEM Accounts area of our site to download these materials.

If you are unsure of what model to use, we suggest contacting your regional distributor.  They will help you to select the right engine for your application.

Honda uses Net Horsepower at 3600 RPMs for our engines.  This is different from maximum horsepower, the way it has traditionally been calculated. However, Honda feels it more accurately reflects the true available power of a completed engine.  Please see the individual model pages for specific horsepower ratings.

Honda engines are designed and certified to run on regular unleaded gasoline  containing a maximum of 10% ethanol.

Honda engines are not designed or certified to run on E85 or any other alternative fuel.
